The Royal Mail have brought forward their latest recommended posting dates for UK and International services to help manage any impact from further planned strike action by the CWU during the festive season.
National strike action
The CWU has formally notified the Royal Mail that they plan to call on their members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take national strike action on Friday 9, Sunday 11, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 December 2022. The CWU recently announced their intention to strike on 23 and 24 December 2022, but they have not formally notified the Royal Mail that strikes will take place on these dates.
