The rod is a superb 10ft carbon blank with a clean, minimalist design: signature olive green OMC FC branded, chamfered black Duplon above the reel seat, a matte black finish, and durable ceramic guides. At 3lb test curve with a super-fast taper and a really strong spine leading to a powerhouse above the reel seat to always mean YOU’RE in control of the cast or the fish! It’s a cracking rod in its own right — and it comes into its own when it comes paired with the OMC FC Carp Reel - A fixed-spool reel preloaded with 15lb Line that also has “that” famous FREE-SPOOL mechanism which clicks “on” and “off” in a heartbeat (turn of the reel handle), or you can fish it traditionally on the backwind or front drag if that’s your style.
