'The Target Fish' Tops Remarkable Monster Carp Haul For 15-Year-Old
Carp fishing trips to Europe don't get much better than the one 15-year-old Reim Tolley experienced recently - breaking his PB twice in the same week at Bluewater in France.

"'The Target Fish at a whopping 71lb-plus"
This red-letter session started slow, but came to life on day two, when the big fish arrived...
"My expectations were low with the cold weather, but I was rewarded on the second day with a 31lber and soon a 56lb 12oz mirror. I was over the moon, but little did I know what was coming," he told us.

"A brute of a mirror at 56lb 12oz"
The following day, on the same spot and same Lock Spinner Rig, the first PB came to Reim's net - a 65lb 10oz mirror. A true heavyweight of a carp and exactly the type of fish people visit France for.
"I can't put into words how long I'd waited to land a carp like this and it finally happened - just shows how special this venue is," Reim said.

"This was turning into a truly special session with this 65lb 10oz PB hitting the net!"
But the session didn’t reach its highlight there. The following morning, a biblically huge fish slid over the net cord. Identified straight away as “The Target Fish”, a truly gigantic specimen and an absolute unit, it turned out to be the new lake-record common at 71lb 3oz. Now that’s what we call a carp fishing holiday!

Reim's Tactics
All of Reim’s fish fell to simple Ronnie Rigs incorporating:
This was fished over a mixture of the house pellet and a generous helping of OMC iScream Stick & Bag Mix – too much for these chunks to resist!
